Traditional- Audiocassettes.
Emerging- Internet Audio
These are both affective audio technologies that could help students learn in the classroom. Audiocassettes would be helpful to aid students if they would want to playback some information that the teacher lectured on. Internet audio would be helpful for students because they could go on the internet and listen to the information that they struggle with. On the internet they could pick and choose what they would like to listen to.
Visual:
Traditional- Non projected visuals
Emerging- Digital projectors
These are both effective visual technologies that could help students learn in the classroom. Non projected visuals would be really helpful because they would be things such as printed materials that you could hand out to your students. Or with non projected visuals you could show a student a real object , and they could actually see and feel the object and they could learn what that object is. As for digital projectors the teachers could use those to show students videos that the students could watch and understand. By showing the students videos it would grab their attention, and it would help the students want to learn.
These are my thoughts and views on some types of audio and visual technologies.
